Welcome to the official website of the Jamestown Volunteer Firemen's Association, Inc. 
 
The Jamestown Vol. Fire Dept. is an all-volunteer department founded in 1937 located in Northwest Pennsylvania. The dept. covers 56 square miles and a population of 4,400 out of 1 central station.   We are designated as Station 89.
 
Jamestown Vol. Fire Dept. Proudly provides Fire, Rescue, & EMS services to the following communities Jamestown Borough & Greene Twp. (Mercer County), and West Shenango & South Shenango Twp’s in Crawford County.

MVA with Fire & Entrapement
Location: Kinsman Rd. (Greene Twp) | Date: 4/7/2009 | Time: 22:30pm
Report:
 
   Mercer County 911 dispatched Station 89 for a 1 car MVA with fire and entrapement on Kinsman Rd. in Greene Twp.  Rescue 89, Engine 89, Ambulance 89, and Brush 89 responded.  Upon arrival 89 crews found the car off the roadway head on into a tree with severe damage and heavy fire.  Crews entinguished the fire and the driver of the vehicle was D.O.A.  Lifeforce Ambulance and PSP assisted.
89 crews assist Dept. 45 on a Structure Fire

   At 10:22 am Thursday March 5, 2009 Crawford County 911 dispatched Station 89 to assist Department 45 on a structure fire.  Chief 45 requested 2 tankers and an ambulance.  Engine 89, Engine 89-2, and Ambulance 89 responded with 10 members.
