Welcome to the official website of the Jamestown Volunteer Firemen's Association, Inc. 
 
The Jamestown Vol. Fire Dept. is an all-volunteer department founded in 1937 located in Northwest Pennsylvania. The dept. covers 56 square miles and a population of 4,400 out of 1 central station.   We are designated as Station 89.
 
Jamestown Vol. Fire Dept. Proudly provides Fire, Rescue, & EMS services to the following communities Jamestown Borough & Greene Twp. (Mercer County), and West Shenango & South Shenango Twp’s in Crawford County.

MVA
Location: Liberty Street (Jamestown Boro) | Date: 8/8/2008 | Time: 1600
Report:
On the afternoon of Friday August 8th, 2008 a delivery truck was trying to pass under the famed arch in downtown Jamestown when a car entered at the same time as the truck and the truck swerved to miss the car striking the arch.  No on was injured in the accident.  R89 & A89 responded.
 
 
 
Rollover with injuries

On the evening of Sunday June 1st, 2008 station 89 was dispatched for an MVA (rollover) with injuries.   R89, A89, & R89-2 responded.  Upon arrival crews found one vehicle on it's roof with all occupants out of the vechicle.  A89 transported 1 person to UPMC-Horizon Greenville ER for treatment.  LifeForce Ambulance and PSP also assisted at the scene.
