Report:
On the afternoon of Friday August 8th, 2008 a delivery truck was trying to pass under the famed arch in downtown Jamestown when a car entered at the same time as the truck and the truck swerved to miss the car striking the arch. No on was injured in the accident. R89 & A89 responded.

Report:
On the evening of Sunday June 1st, 2008 station 89 was dispatched for an MVA (rollover) with injuries. R89, A89, & R89-2 responded. Upon arrival crews found one vehicle on it's roof with all occupants out of the vechicle. A89 transported 1 person to UPMC-Horizon Greenville ER for treatment. LifeForce Ambulance and PSP also assisted at the scene.

Garden Tractor Fire With Exposure

Report: Crawford County 911 tapped 89 for a motor vehicle fire with an exposure of a garage on May 5, 2008 at 13:38pm. E89 & E89-2 responded. Upon arrival crews found a garden tractor in front of the garage fully envolved. The fire had extended to the door of the garage. Crews rapidly extinguished the fire before it extened further into the garaged. 89 was assisted at the scene by Dept's 17 & 45.

Report: Station 89 was tapped by Crawford County 911 at 16:33 pm for an MVA with pt's possibly ejected. R89, A89, & R89-2 responded. Upon arrival 89 crews found a small car with moderate front end damage that had hit the guard rail twice and spun causing 2 patients to be ejected from the vehicle. 2 StatMedevac Helicoptor's were called to the scene to fly both pt's to a trauma center. 89 had 16 members respond on the call and were also assisted by Dept's 31, 400, and Pymatuning State Park Rangers.

Rollover with Entrapment

Report:
 On April 20, 2008 Crawford County 911 dispatched station 89 for an MVA with entrapment at 8pm. A89, R89, R89-2, & E89 responded. Upon arrival crews found a single car down over an embankment on it's side with 2 pt's entrapped. Both pt's were critical. 2 Stat Medevac helicoptor's were called to the scene. 89 crews extricated the two pt's and they were both flown from the scene. 18 members responded on the call. Lifeforce ambulance, PSP, and Pymatuning State Park Rangers assisted on the call.

Report:
 Station 89 was dispatched around 2pm for a shed fire on Linesville Rd. Brush 89, E89, & E89-2 responded. Upon arrival the shed was fully involved. Engine 89 deployed (2) 1 3/4 attack lines to extinguish the fire. Brush 89 deployed a booster line and Indian cans to protect the fire from spreading into the adjacent field. |

Report:
 Jamestown was dispatched via Crawford County 911 shortly after 11AM for a shed fire with exposures on North Second St. Ext in Douthett Allotment. E89 & E89-2 responded. Upon arrival 89 crews found a small shed fully involved with an exposure of a house. Crews also found the electric service line to the house was burnt in half. Crew's were able to extinguish the fire quickly. The house sustained some heat damage to the vinyl siding, but the fire did not extend to the house.

Report:  Station 89 was dispatched for a chimney fire on Overlook Dr. Crews arrived to find a small fire in the chimney. Fire was quickly extinguished. Dept. 17 assisted at the scene with an Engine and manpower.

Report:  Mercer County 911 dispatched station 89 for a Barn fire at 16:12 pm on Stateline Rd. E89, E89-2, & T-89 responded. E89 arrived to find a 40x60 storage building on fire. The building contained heavy machinery. 89 crews quickly extinguished the fire. 89 had 15 firefighters on scene and were assisted by dept's 96,73,45, & 33.

The victim self extricated and walked to a neighboring house were EMS met her and transported her to UPMC-Horizon Greenville ER.

Station 89 was dispatched in the early morning hours of Thursday February 21, 2008 to assist Station 45 on a working house fire. E89-2 initially responded with 3 men and set up water supply with a porta tank on scene to supply Engine 45-1. E89 and T89 were then called to the scene for tankers.

Chief 89, and Chief 89-2 responded. U/A found Station 94 crews on scene with a single car into a utility pole. Amb. 89 transported 1 patient to UPMC-Horizon Greenville with McGonigle Ambulance Medic 511 on board. |
